How Mondelēz International generated over 282,000 entries for a chance to win instant prizes and a grand prize Olympic experience

To celebrate their partnership with Team Canada, Mondelēz International launched the Taste Glory contest — an interactive, Team Canada–themed experience where consumers played daily games.

Problem

With the 2022 Olympics approaching, Mondelēz Canada sought a way to boost brand visibility, activate its sponsorship of Team Canada, and drive daily consumer engagement across its portfolio of snack brands.

Solution

WILY developed the Taste Glory contest platform, allowing users to choose from three custom-designed, Team Canada–inspired games and play once daily for a chance to win exclusive prize packs. A featured video from two-time Olympic gold medalist Desiree Scott added authenticity and excitement.

Each play also entered users into a grand prize draw for a live video chat with a Canadian Olympian, creating a memorable, high-impact campaign that combined sport, play, and brand promotion.
